- “We”, “us”, “our”: maTEA+, a VOF registered in the Netherlands
- “You”, “customer”: The person or entity placing an order
- “Products”: Loose-leaf yerba mate tea blends sold by maTEA+

- “Order”: Your request to purchase products through our website
3. Product Information
3.1 Descriptions
We strive to provide accurate product descriptions, ingredients, and images. However:
- Colors may vary slightly due to screen settings
- Flavor descriptions are subjective and may vary by individual taste
- Leaf appearance may vary between batches (natural product)
3.2 Availability

- We reserve the right to discontinue products without notice
- If an ordered product is unavailable, we will contact you to offer alternatives or refund

4. Ordering Process

4.2 Order Confirmation
- Order confirmation email serves as acceptance of your order
- We reserve the right to refuse orders (e.g., suspected fraud, unusual quantities)
- A contract is formed when you receive order confirmation

- All prices are in Euros (€) and include 9% BTW (VAT)
- Prices are subject to change without notice
- The price at the time of order confirmation applies
- Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and added to the total

5. Payment
5.1 Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods via Mollie:
- iDeal (Dutch banks)
- Credit/debit cards
- Other methods as displayed at checkout
5.2 Payment Terms
- Payment must be completed before order processing
- Orders are only processed after successful payment confirmation
- Failed payments result in order cancellation after 24 hours
5.3 Security
- All payments are processed securely through Mollie (PCI DSS compliant)
- We do not store credit card information
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your payment methods

6. Delivery
6.1 Delivery Area
- Netherlands: Nationwide shipping
- Breda area: Possible local pickup/hand delivery (contact us for details)
- International: Not currently available
6.2 Delivery Time
- Standard processing: 1-3 business days
- Estimated delivery: 2-5 business days after dispatch (Netherlands)
- Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed
- Orders placed on weekends/holidays are processed on the next business day
6.3 Shipping Costs
- Calculated at checkout based on weight and destination
- Free shipping may be offered for orders over a certain amount (displayed at checkout)
6.4 Delivery Method
- Orders are shipped via PostNL or other reliable carriers
- A tracking number will be provided when available
- Delivery to the address you provide at checkout
6.5 Delivery Issues
Non-delivery:
- If your order doesn’t arrive within 10 business days, contact us immediately
- We are not liable for delays caused by incorrect addresses, postal service delays, or force majeure
Damaged packages:
- Inspect packages upon delivery
- Report damage within 48 hours with photos to contact@mateaplus.nl
- We will replace damaged products or issue a refund
Refused delivery:
- If you refuse delivery without valid reason, you are responsible for return shipping costs
7. Right of Withdrawal (Cooling-off Period)
7.1 EU Consumer Rights
Under Dutch law (implementing EU Directive 2011/83/EU), you have 14 days to withdraw from your purchase without giving a reason.
Withdrawal period begins:
- The day you (or a third party designated by you) receive the product
To exercise withdrawal:
- Send clear notification to contact@mateaplus.nl within 14 days
- Include order number, name, and product(s) you wish to return
- Return products within 14 days of notification
7.2 Exceptions to Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal DOES NOT apply to:
- Unsealed food products (due to hygiene and health protection)
- Products that have been opened, used, or altered
Important: Once you open the sealed packaging of our tea products, the right of withdrawal no longer applies for hygiene reasons (Article 6:230p(f) Dutch Civil Code).
7.3 Return Conditions
Products must be returned:
- In original, unopened, sealed packaging
- In new, unused condition
- With all original labels and documentation
- At your own cost and risk
7.4 Refund Process
- We will inspect returned products upon receipt
- If conditions are met, we will refund within 14 days
- Refund via the same payment method used for purchase
- Original shipping costs are not refunded (unless defect/error on our part)
- You bear the cost of return shipping
8. Warranty and Liability
8.1 Product Quality
- Our products comply with Dutch and EU food safety standards
- We guarantee products are fit for consumption until the “best before” date
- Store products as instructed on packaging to maintain quality
8.2 Defective Products
If you receive a defective or incorrect product:
- Contact us within 7 days of delivery
- Provide photos and description of the issue
- We will replace the product or issue a full refund (including shipping costs)
8.3 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect damages (lost profits, business interruption)
- Total liability is limited to the value of your order
